Austria, Vienna 2020
A waiter, his coffee, a quiet break. Beside him, a breakfast poster continues its own small conversation. I made this photograph one day before the first Covid lockdown in 2020. At the time it was an ordinary street moment. Afterwards, the ordinary felt like something we had lost. The street writes its stories. Sometimes we only understand them later.
