A Night in Vienna No. 2 – Vienna, Austria 2020
In The Moments, I use the surreal to interrupt the familiar and give a thought room to breathe.
We made this image during the Leica Q2 Monochrom film, in the middle of the Covid period. A wet pavement, reflections, clouds of smoke. A passing hello in a time when closeness had become a question of distance. I keep coming back to how much a small encounter can hold when touching is no longer ordinary.
