In The Moments, I use the surreal to interrupt the familiar and give a thought room to breathe.
You don't need to see the whole road to take the next step. The fog keeps its secrets, and I let it. There is something about a night like this that makes the familiar feel uncertain again. I like staying with that uncertainty, keeping my own direction without pretending everything is clear.
