Behind the Image
A Day Skiing No. 1 : Austria, Hochwurzen 2022
The Moments brings a little uncertainty into ordinary life. I like what becomes visible when certainty steps aside.
We were freezing. The flippers weren't helping. I like an image that takes life seriously enough to laugh at it. The conditions are rarely perfect, and our equipment doesn't always match the situation. We can still stand there, keep a little attitude and enjoy the absurdity of being alive. Even when it's bloody cold.
