Portraits with presence.

Direction without performance.

The person. The presence.

I make visible what sets you apart.

Not by turning you into someone else, but by shaping light, space and direction around what is already there.

Your portrait session

Come as you are.
Leave with what you feel.

It begins with a conversation.

Before we take photographs, we talk about what brings you here and what you want the portraits to hold. A moment in your life. A side of yourself you want to explore. Or an idea that has not quite found its shape yet.

Together, we find a direction. The setting, light and atmosphere grow from that conversation — whether we work quietly in the studio or somewhere that means something to you.

Direction. With room to be you.

You don’t need experience in front of a camera, and you don’t need to know how to pose. I guide where guidance helps, notice the small shifts and leave room for what happens between the planned moments.

We can keep things quiet and simple or make room for something more expressive. There is no single version of a portrait session that everyone has to fit into.

Something you recognise.

A portrait can be personal, cinematic or playful. What matters is that you can recognise yourself in it. I shape the visual direction around your presence, rather than asking you to step into someone else’s image.

Selected photographs can also become fine art prints — something physical, with a place in your home and your life.

Personal. Considered. Yours.

A portrait should feel like you — not like a version of someone else.

A conversation is a beginning.

You don’t need a perfect plan.
Just a reason to begin.

Tell me what draws you to a portrait session, what you imagine — or what you cannot yet put into words. We can shape the rest together.
